Ingredients:
01) 2 cups of granulated sugar
02) 6 eggs
03) 1/2 cup of butter (melted)
04) 2 teaspoon of aniseeds (crushed it lightly)
05) 2 teaspoons of orange extracts
06) 4 cups of flour (all purpose)
07) 4 teaspoons of baking powder
08) 1 and 1/2 cup of almonds (whole unbalanced)
Now let’s see the preparation.
Preparation:
In the very first step of this simple Italian biscotti recipe, we will preheat the oven to 350 degree F. Now we will beat the eggs and sugar together and make it creamy. In the next strep we will beat it in the melted butter, orange extract and aniseeds.
In the next step we will prepare the mixture of flour and baking powder. Now we will add to butter and beat it and make it well blended. Now we ill stir in the nuts.
Now we will place the dough in the refrigerator and make it chill for a time to 1 hour at least. Here we would like to tell you that this dough can be kept in the refrigerator up-to 3 days.
Now we will shape the dough and take a ungreased baking sheet and place it over that sheet. Now we will start baking this and so the color becomes lightly browned.
In the next step we are going to remove the pan from oven and make it cool slightly and now we will put this dough on the cutting board and make the slices diagonally and make thick pieces.
Now take the baking sheet and arrange, cut and side down on this sheet and place it in the oven.
We will bake it for 15 minutes to 20 minutes.
In the end we will transfer this Italian biscotti to wire racks and make it cool.
