01) 2 cups of olive oil
02) 1 and half cups of dried bread crumbs
03) 2 eggs
04) 1 cup of uncooked white rice
05) 1 teaspoon of salt
06) 1 quart of water
07) 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
08) 1 tablespoon of parsley (dried)
09) 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper (we will use pepper which are freshly ground)
These were the ingredients of this Italian rice ball recipes with ground beef, now we will see the preparation of this Italian rice ball recipe with ground beef.
Preparation:
Let’s start preparing the Italian rice balls. In the first step we will take a medium bowl. Now using this bowl we will add eggs, parsley,pepper, cheese, and one teaspoon of salt. Now we will cover this and then we will refrigerate this.
Now we will take a saucepan and using this pan we will bring water to boil after adding water in it and then we also add salt (1 teaspoon). Now we will reduce the heat to low and then we will stir this.
Now we start cooking the rice till the water is absorbed and we will keep it in mind that we are stirring it frequently!! Now in the next step we will remove the heat and then slowly pour this into the mixture of egg and then we will stir it rapidly. This will prevent the egg from scrambling. Then we will let the rice mixture cool and it will take one hour.
Now in the next step, on one end of the cutting board we will pour the bread crumbs into pile. Now we will dampen the hands and roll the mixture of rice into small balls. Then we will coat each of this ball with bread crumbs.
Now take a small deep skillet, and we will heat the olive oil to 350 degrees of F or 175 degrees of C. We will add the oil according to the requirement then we will start frying the rice balls and we turn them while cooking and color will become brown.
