Today we are going to give you a recipe that will help you to say thanks to your loved ones and it is First thanksgiving duck with orange sauce recipe. Ingredients:
01) 2 to 4 pounds of ducks
02) 2 cups of chicken broth
03) 2 tablespoons of flour
04) 2 tablespoons of butter
05) 2/3 teaspoons of salt
Ingredients of orange sauce:
01) half cup of sugar
02) half cup of water
03) salt
04) Pepper
05) 1/4 cup of brandy
06) 1 cup of lemon juice
07) Silvered orange rind

Preparation:
In the first step we will preheat the oven to 450 degrees of F and then we will rub each duck with salt and pricking with a fork. Now we will take a roasting pan and place on rack in that open roasting pan and then we will roast it for almost 20 minutes.
In the next step of First thanksgiving duck with orange sauce recipe we will remove the duck and rack from pan and the we will drain off all.
Now we will melt the butter in roasting pan and the we will stir in the flour. Now we will add chicken and will start stirring this and now we will going to reduce the oven temperature to 350 degrees of F and then we will return the duck to pan but this time without the rack. In the last step we will cook it for one and half hour.
For orange sauce we will caramelize the sugar and water in sauce pan and the we will add the orange rind, orange juice, lemon juice and brandy in it and we will also add salt and pepper in it and remove the duck from pan and then we will strain the residue in roasting pan and then we will stir in the caramelized mixture .
Now we will strain it once again and will pour over the duck.
